About The Position

Accenture's Oracle practice is seeking a talented and highly motivated senior-level resource to act as an Oracle Delivery Lead on Oracle HCM Cloud implementation projects. This role involves driving end-to-end innovation, leading the journey to Cloud, and delivering award-winning work. The practice utilizes innovation-led design thinking, agile development methodologies, and intelligent technologies like IoT, analytics, automation, and AI. Accenture is a global leader in Oracle systems integration, with a strong focus on client success and continuous learning. The role requires a problem-solver with the ability to diagnose client needs and see the gap between their current state and their desired future with Oracle Cloud solutions. The Delivery Lead will guide project teams, ensure quality and deadlines are met, and identify new business opportunities to grow the HCM practice. The role also involves supporting business development, creating proposals, building client relationships, and mentoring team members.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 15 years of HCM program delivery leadership experience.
  • At least 5 years leading Oracle Cloud complex implementations.
  • Proven success managing multi-million-dollar programs ($5M–$50M) and working with global teams.
  • Skills in Oracle Cloud with a working knowledge of SaaS, PaaS and IaaS.
  • Executive presence and existing relationships with client CxO and other SVP level positions at Canadian companies.
  • Experience in delivering complex solutions for large clients on Oracle technologies in a Delivery Executive / Delivery Lead capacity.
  • Must have worked in Global Delivery model leveraging onshore and offshore workforces.
  • Business Process acumen required in areas like Recruiting, Employee Management, Labour Relations, Payroll, Benefits Administration, Health & Safety, Compensation Administration, Absence and Time & Labour Administration, Talent Management processes and Learning Management.
  • Ability to demonstrate presentation skills and story-telling.
  • English is required for this position as this role will regularly interact with stakeholders across Canada, US and other countries across our Global footprint where English is the common language.
  • Ability to confidently engage, influence, and build trust with senior leaders.
  • Skilled at conveying complex technical solutions through clear, persuasive business narratives.
  • Experience in structuring, negotiating, and closing large-scale transformation deals.
  • Adept at motivating cross-functional teams and fostering a high-performance delivery culture.
  • Ability to align delivery with broader business outcomes and client transformation agendas.

Nice To Haves

  • Previous roles managing Global programs

Responsibilities

  • Act as the Delivery Lead on Oracle HCM Cloud implementation projects, providing direction as the subject matter expert.
  • Lead the project team members throughout the project lifecycle and ensure quality of work and deadlines are met.
  • Work with the Cloud Implementation Project Manager to plan and schedule all functional and technical development activities to meet defined scope and milestones.
  • Identify and lead new business opportunities to grow our HCM practice.
  • Originate new sales opportunities, progress opportunities through the sales process, and through to closure/contract signing.
  • Manage and mentor the careers of several resources and serve as a people manager.
  • Walk clients through digital transformations, help them find operational efficiency and new revenue streams (e.g., Journey to Oracle cloud, build Oracle roadmap).
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to senior leadership.
  • Support business development opportunities to bring innovative technology solutions and ways of working to clients.
  • Lead Oracle Cloud implementations (Recruiting, Employee Management, Labour Relations, Payroll, Benefits Administration, Health & Safety, Compensation Administration, Absence and Time & Labour Administration, Talent Management processes and Learning Management) ensuring scope, budget, schedule, and quality are met while enabling business transformation and value realization.
  • Establish governance models, lead Steering Committees, and maintain oversight of RAID logs, change control, and quality reviews.
  • Manage diverse teams across functional, technical, and change management workstreams.
  • Coach and mentor consultants to elevate delivery quality and client satisfaction.
  • Anticipate project risks, develop mitigation strategies, and act as the escalation point for client and delivery issues.
