About The Position

This is a temporary project role for an Oracle Database Analyst located onsite in Tallahassee, FL. The estimated duration is 12 months with possible extensions. The role requires 100% on-site work at the client's location, with no telecommuting or remote work options. Candidates must be able to relocate to Tallahassee, FL. The position involves reviewing and improving current database structures, schemas, and ETL processes, working with customers to define new requirements, designing and implementing changes to the data warehouse and ETL processes, mentoring client staff, managing projects, writing technical documentation, and performing routine database performance tuning, monitoring, and capacity planning for Oracle 19c environments.

Requirements

  • Availability to work 100% at the Client’s site in Tallahassee, FL
  • IT work experience in DBA, DBMS design and support and relevant computing Environments (3+ years)
  • Experience with Oracle 19c database

Nice To Haves

  • Experience as a database analyst with Oracle, PL/SQL, Kornshell Scripts, Data Governance and Data Warehousing
  • Experience with ETL Processing, Data Modeling and Data Migration (8+ years)
  • Experience with Data Visualization

Responsibilities

  • Review current database structures / schemas and ETL processes for understanding, document existing structures / schemas and ETL processes, and identify and implement improvements
  • Work with customers to define new requirements for the ETL process and/or data warehouse
  • Design and implement approved changes to the data warehouse, as well as ETL processes
  • Mentor Client’s applications staff on ETL processing and/or data warehouse techniques
  • Handle day ‐ to ‐ day management of assigned projects and prioritize workload to ensure project deadlines are met
  • Write technical procedures and documents
  • Perform routine database performance tuning, monitoring, and capacity planning to ensure optimal operation of Oracle 19c environments
