About The Position

Sr. Oracle Database Administrator with 10+ years Oracle database administration experience supporting large scale or enterprise level database services. The Practice/Technical Director provides technology and industry leadership on large and/or more complex IT engagements. This role leads enterprise-wide solution engagements for high quality, integrated solutions within constraints of time and budget. The individual will develop an integrated and robust solution based on customer needs combining GOTS, COTS, IaaS, PaaS, SaaS, and third-party components. They will provide subject matter expertise to assist the customer through difficult business decisions. This role involves designing, configuring, and implementing all aspects of the full stack architecture delivering innovative solutions by combining Oracle best practices, knowledge in IT product offerings, and business acumen. Recommendations for enhancements to meet complex customer needs will be made.

Requirements

• 10 + years experience administering to, and engineering solutions with Oracle’s database (10 – current)
• Extensive experience with database design and modeling
• Extensive experience with the collection and interpretation of customer requirements relevant to database migration, troubleshooting, performance observation and tuning
• Significant experience with the production and deployment of RAC, RMAN backup & recovery
• Experience with Oracle Exadata, DB security, Data Guard and / or DB Vault, Oracle Enterprise Manager Cloud Control, label security, and data migration
• BS in CS or related course of study, or equivalent year’s experience
• Must be an independent worker with strong communications skills
• TS/SCI w/ FSP required
