About The Position

Argano is seeking an Oracle Cloud Solutions Technical Architect to collaborate with clients and internal sales and delivery teams on proposing and delivering innovative technical solutions. The architect creates, estimates, positions, and oversees end-to-end Oracle Cloud technical solutions, guiding clients toward successful realization and delivery. The role consults on Oracle Cloud SaaS, OIC, and PaaS technologies, translates business needs into solution designs, and supports presales and delivery activities.

The ideal candidate is a professional who can thrive in an upbeat, innovative environment and provide high-quality service and cutting-edge solutions to clients in the Oracle community. The position also contributes to Argano’s methodology, technical training, and presentation materials, and requires the ability to travel domestically up to 50%.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience from a four-year college or university in a related field.
• Five to seven years of relevant experience in Oracle Cloud implementations.
• History of designing complex Oracle Cloud technical solutions.
• Ability to conduct technical design sessions with prospective clients.
• Deep knowledge of Oracle Cloud SaaS, OIC integrations, and PaaS enhancements.
• Broad knowledge of Oracle Cloud applications across modules.
• Ability to translate business needs into solution designs.
• Proven ability to deliver strategic solution presentations.
• Ability to engage key business users, gather and define initial business requirements, and conduct problem-solving sessions.
• Attention to detail, ability to understand the big picture, and ability to identify conflicting project objectives.
• Strong leadership skills and proven ability to advise clients on strategic ERP and systems direction.
• Knowledge of service-based architecture and enterprise application architecture.
• Excellent listening, writing, verbal, facilitation, negotiation, conflict-resolution, presentation, and teamwork skills; professional image and positive attitude.
• Demonstrated proficiency with Microsoft Office products.
• Ability to travel domestically up to 50%.
• Strong IT knowledge, including understanding of technology stacks, platforms, and frameworks.
• Proficiency in one or more programming languages and ability to understand and write code.
• Experience defining and designing technical architectures for client engagements, including comprehensive architectural documentation and diagrams.
• Strong analytical, critical-thinking, and problem-solving skills for identifying and resolving complex technical challenges.
• Ability to collaborate with clients, understand technical requirements and challenges, and explain complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
• Ability to assist with project planning, resource allocation, and timeline management.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for interacting with clients, team members, and other stakeholders.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, including developers, engineers, project managers, and other architects.

Responsibilities

• Work with clients to identify requirements and technical needs and determine appropriate implementation solutions.
• Create end-to-end Oracle Cloud technical solutions addressing an organization’s overall business processes.
• Communicate and sell proposed end-to-end solutions.
• Create and deliver project proposals, estimates, statements of work, project plans, and implementation strategies.
• Communicate product information and guide clients and coworkers on issues, tools, techniques, enhancements, process changes, and related information.
• Work with the sales team and clients to ensure the proposed technical solution is understood and appropriately positioned.
• Assist with presales handoff to the delivery team for implementation.
• Use Oracle SaaS, OIC, and PaaS expertise to consult with clients and project personnel to identify and define project development scope and requirements.
• Assist in developing and delivering presentation materials at annual trade shows.
• Remain current with Oracle Cloud technologies and assist with developing and delivering training programs for organizational members.
• Help develop and promote adherence to the Argano Methodology to drive consistency.
• Assist Argano delivery technical teams with deployment and oversight of technical solutions developed during presales.
• Assist Argano delivery technical teams as needed.
