We are seeking an experienced Oracle General Ledger (GL) Consultant to support the design, configuration, implementation, and optimization of Oracle Cloud GL solutions. The consultant will work closely with business stakeholders, functional teams, and technical teams to drive key decisions, ensure alignment with financial and accounting requirements, and provide functional expertise throughout the implementation lifecycle.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree or completion of a related college program.
4–6 years of hands-on experience in Oracle Cloud Financials, with strong expertise in General Ledger (GL).
Experience configuring Oracle Cloud GL, including ledgers, chart of accounts, financial reporting structures, and integrations with upstream/downstream systems.
Strong understanding of financial processes, accounting principles, month-end close activities, and reporting.
English is required for this position as this role will regularly interact with English-speaking stakeholders across Canada.

Nice To Haves

Oracle Cloud Financials certification (GL).
Experience with other Oracle Cloud Financial modules and cross-module touchpoints (AP, AR, CM, Projects).
Working proficiency in French.

Responsibilities

Be a part of a high-performing Oracle Cloud Financials configuration team, with a strong focus on General Ledger (GL).
Lead and collaborate with cross-functional teams; provide guidance and make informed decisions impacting both the immediate team and multiple project workstreams.
Engage with business stakeholders, functional teams, and technical teams to drive key solution decisions and ensure alignment with financial and accounting requirements.
Design, configure, and implement Oracle Cloud GL solutions, including chart of accounts structures, ledgers, calendars, accounting configurations, and integrations.
Troubleshoot complex financial issues and provide scalable, actionable solutions across multiple teams.
Work hands-on with integrations involving source systems and inbound/outbound interfaces.
Support month-end activities, financial reporting, and production support, ensuring stability and accuracy of GL processes.
