About The Position

Sierra-Cedar is seeking an Oracle Cloud EPM Planning Lead (EPBCS). This is a hands-on role focused on planning, designing, and executing Oracle Cloud EPM implementations. The lead will work directly with Public Sector or Commercial clients, acting as a trusted advisor. This role requires strong financial planning industry experience and business knowledge. The lead will conduct daily meetings on camera and travel to client sites as needed for project milestones. Responsibilities include gathering requirements, performing configurations, leading design sessions, and implementing solutions using Oracle Cloud EPM tools like Planning (EPBCS/PBCS), Narrative Reporting, and Enterprise Data Management. Technical duties involve building integrations, reports, and application configurations. The lead will also review project deliverables, collaborate with teams, deliver integrated solutions, and guide the team through project delivery. A solid understanding of business requirements in U.S. state and local governments, higher education, or commercial sectors, along with planning and budgeting experience, is crucial. This role is approximately 70% remote and 30% travel to client sites, with potential fluctuations based on project needs.

Requirements

Completed 3-5+ full implementations in Oracle Cloud EPM Planning/EPBCS.
5+ years of financial planning and budgeting experience.
At least a 4-year degree.
Experience in Public Sector (especially State/Local Govt), Higher Ed, or Commercial industry.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Technical experience.
Good understanding of business requirements within U.S. state and local governments, higher education, or commercial sectors.
