About The Position
Sierra-Cedar is seeking an Oracle Cloud EPM EPBCS Lead for their Higher Ed business unit. This is a hands-on role primarily responsible for planning, designing, and executing Oracle EPM implementations, with a strong emphasis on technical responsibilities. The ideal candidate will possess financial planning industry experience and business knowledge, working closely with Higher Ed clients as a trusted advisor. This is not an Architect or Manager level role; Lead consultants are primarily functional, hands-on team members with some technical experience. The role involves daily on-camera meetings and travel to client sites for project milestones. Leads are client-facing, requiring excellent communication skills for requirement gathering, configuration, design sessions, and implementation. The position focuses on solving complex business problems using Oracle Cloud EPM tools like Planning (EPBCS/PBCS), Narrative Reporting, and Enterprise Data Management. Technical duties include building integrations, reports, and application configurations. The Lead will also review project deliverables, collaborate with teams, deliver integrated solutions, and guide the team through project delivery. A strong understanding of Higher Ed business requirements, planning, and budgeting is essential.
Requirements
- 3-5+ full implementations in Oracle Cloud EPM Planning/EPBCS
- 5+ years of financial planning and budgeting experience
- At least a 4-year degree in a related field
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Good understanding of business requirements within Higher Ed institutions
