Oracle Cloud Architect
About The Position
As an Oracle Cloud Architect, you will create cloud-based technical architectures that meet client needs and leverage cloud capabilities to improve mission-critical applications and products. This role involves developing cloud-based solutions for complex national problems, utilizing the latest cloud technologies to enhance client environments. You will collaborate with industry leaders to shape strategy and design, ensuring compliance with standards throughout the cloud migration process. Responsibilities include recommending tools and solutions based on environmental research and knowledge of various on-premise, cloud-based, and hybrid resources. You will also support your team in addressing client challenges in the cloud and develop skills in areas like AI while working on critical systems for the defense industry.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in software with a cloud-first development approach
- 5+ years of experience with OCI enterprise solutions
- 3+ years of experience with OCI services and cloud-native architecture patterns, including Compute, Autonomous Database, Exadata Database, security policies, security groups, and network security
- 3+ years of experience with Infrastructure as Code, including Terraform, or CloudFormation
- Experience working with containerization, including Docker, Kubernetes, and container orchestration
- Experience creating advanced OCI solutions
- Experience developing and deploying production geospatial solutions from concept to O&M
- TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph
- Bachelor's degree

- Experience with Authority to Operate (ATO) processes and security documentation
- Experience designing solutions to enable migration from AWS to OCI
- Experience with OCI AI, ML and LLM offerings
- Experience designing OCI solutions optimized for geospatial workloads
- Experience leading technical initiatives in large-scale environments
- Experience with system design, including scalability and reliability
- Knowledge of security best practices and compliance requirements
- OCI Certifications such as OCI Architect or OCI Developer Certifications
- IAT Level II Certification such as Security+ or CISSP Certifications

- Help the client overcome their most difficult challenges in the cloud
- Grow skills in areas like AI while developing critical systems for the defense industry
