About The Position

This is a contract position based out of Atlanta, GA. The role involves deploying and managing Oracle Customer to Meter (C2M) and related middleware components. The consultant will be responsible for administration, configuration, support, and enhancements of Oracle C2M platforms, as well as troubleshooting Oracle WebLogic Server. The position requires strong communication and consulting skills, the ability to manage changing priorities in a fast-paced environment, and participation in on-call support.

Requirements

Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field is desirable or equivalent combination of education and experience.
10 or more years of experience in IT (Information Technology).
At least 5 years of experience deploying and managing Oracle Customer to Meter (C2M) (25.4 desired, minimum v2.9).
At least 5 years of experience deploying and managing other Oracle related middleware components like WebLogic Server (14c desired).
Strong product knowledge of Oracle Utilities Customer to Meter platforms (C2M, CC&B, MDM) including administration, configuration, support, and enhancements.
Strong product knowledge of Oracle WebLogic 14c, install, configuring, troubleshooting.
Hands-on experience with Oracle WebLogic 14c in the last 2 years.
Hands-on experience with Oracle WebLogic 12c within the last 5 years.
Hands-on experience with configuring and supporting C2M components such as IWS, batch, JMS queues, etc.
Knowledge and hands-on experience of DevOps release management to Oracle C2M.
Proven written and verbal communication skills, comfortable presenting.
Demonstrated consulting skills, initiative to influence change, proactive thinker.
Ability to function in a fast-paced changing environment, manage changing priorities, be responsive, dependable, and discerning when supporting the business and coworkers.
Ability to multi-task efficiently, manage projects, work independently with little supervision, and keep assignments organized by planning their work and meeting project deadlines.

Nice To Haves

Experience with integrations such as Oracle SOA.
Knowledge and experience in creating automation and DevOps management is desirable.

Responsibilities

Deploying and managing Oracle Customer to Meter (C2M) and other Oracle related middleware components like WebLogic Server.
Administering, configuring, supporting, and enhancing Oracle Utilities Customer to Meter platforms (C2M, CC&B, MDM).
Installing, configuring, and troubleshooting Oracle WebLogic 14c.
Configuring and supporting C2M components such as IWS, batch, JMS queues.
Configuring Dynatrace or other monitoring tools for monitoring Oracle C2M.
Applying DevOps release management to Oracle C2M.
Creating automation and DevOps management.
Multi-tasking efficiently, managing projects, and working independently with little supervision.
Planning work and meeting project deadlines.
Participating in a rotating on-call support.
