About The Position

The Oracle Analytics Cloud (OAC) Administrator is responsible for the administration, governance, and operational stability of Travel + Leisure’s Oracle Analytics platform. This role ensures that analytics environments are secure, compliant, performant, and scalable, while supporting business-critical reporting across Finance, Operations, Business Intelligence, and Commercial teams. This position operates at the intersection of platform engineering, BI administration, and data integration, with strong emphasis on governance, auditability, and enterprise-grade reliability. The role also supports Linux-based automation and integration components supporting OAC reports and agents, Snowflake repositories, and complex, hospitality-focused broader data workflows.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in BI platforms or analytics administration
  • 3+ years of hands-on experience with Oracle Analytics Cloud (OAC) or similar Linux-based reporting platforms
  • Experience with Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI)
  • Strong SQL skills and experience with performance tuning, preferably in Snowflake and Oracle databases
  • Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Analytics, Computer Science, Software Programming, Data Science, Information Systems, Information Technology, or Business Administration with an emphasis in Analytics.
  • Oracle certifications (OAC / OCI) or the ability to obtain certification within the first 6 months.
  • Experience in Linux administration and scripting
  • Familiarity with: Oracle Database SQL, Snowflake SQL, Oracle Fusion (ERP/HCM) analytics integration, ADW, FAW, ODI, OIC, or similar data platforms
  • Experience with identity management (SSO, IAM, IDCS, OKTA, SAML)
  • Exposure to enterprise BI governance frameworks (comparable to Power BI / Fabric environments)
  • Oracle Analytics Cloud (OAC)
  • Experience with Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI)
  • Snowflake SQL and database development
  • 3+ years of hands-on experience with Oracle Analytics Cloud (OAC) performing Linux-based administration tasks and/or OAC report development
  • Experience equivalent to the education requirement may be accepted in lieu of the education requirement.

Responsibilities

  • Administer Oracle Analytics Cloud environments (Dev/PreProd/Prod) within Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) enabling semantic layer support for commercial operations
  • Monitor system health, usage, and platform performance
  • Optimize report performance, datasets, RPDs (repository semantic layer), and backend Oracle SQL queries
  • Configure and support secure data connectivity across: Oracle On-Prem Servers, Oracle Fusion / ERP / HCM, EDW and enterprise data warehouse platforms (Snowflake), External data sources and APIs
  • Support Linux-based components used for: Data gateways and integration services, Job scheduling and monitoring
  • Improve operational efficiency through scripting and automation of repetitive admin tasks in OAC or Snowflake
  • Partner with Security and Compliance teams to: Enforce identity and access management controls, Maintain audit readiness and regulatory compliance
  • Maintain patches and upgrades of the Linux-based OAC servers, replace application wallets, and rotate service account passwords at scheduled intervals to reduce data leakage.
  • Troubleshoot and close incidents opened by the business to investigate data abnormalities by working with the ETL or Identity Management team to ensure data elements are accurate and security roles are enforced to ensure the principle of least privilege across all environments.
  • Enable UAT testing in a pre-production environment and promote reports to production server upon UAT approval pending a formal change request process approval by the Change Management team
  • Create new OAC reports or Snowflake stored procedures/scheduled tasks based on business requirements using Oracle subject areas or Snowflake data objects.
  • Participate in CapEx and OpEx projects as needed to include data connectivity, security enforcement, data cleansing, data product enablement, SQL tuning, database view creation, and data product delivery in the form of OAC reports.
