About The Position

We are seeking an experienced Operating Room (OR) Tech / Surgical Technologist to support a busy surgical services department. The ideal candidate will have strong scrub experience, be proficient in a variety of surgical specialties, and possess the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced operating room environment. Candidates with experience supporting advanced surgical technologies, including robotic and laparoscopic procedures, are highly desired.

Requirements

Current BLS Certification required.
Minimum 3 years of recent Surgical Technologist/OR Tech experience required.
First-time travelers accepted.
Case Cart management experience.
Surgical Scrub experience.
Da Vinci Xi robotic surgery scrub experience.
Laparoscopic surgery scrub experience.

Nice To Haves

Neonatal surgical cases.
Infant and Pediatric surgical cases.
Assembly and wrapping of surgical instruments and trays.
Mako Robotic Surgery experience.
Ophthalmology (Eye) surgical case experience.

Responsibilities

Prepare operating rooms and surgical equipment for procedures.
Maintain sterile technique and ensure compliance with infection prevention standards.
Scrub and assist surgeons during surgical procedures.
Set up, organize, and manage case carts and surgical supplies.
Handle surgical instruments, equipment, and sterile field maintenance throughout procedures.
Assist with patient positioning, room turnover, and post-procedure activities.
Support robotic and minimally invasive surgical procedures as required.
Collaborate with surgeons, nurses, anesthesia staff, and other healthcare professionals to ensure efficient surgical workflow.
Float between similar units as needed to support patient care and operational requirements.
