About The Position

Provides a safe, clean environment for the patient and personnel of the surgical department by practicing housekeeping responsibilities for environmental sanitation. To provide and assist the staff with safe patient handling, movement, and transfers under the guidance of the registered nurse. Serves as an assistant within the operating room to maintain stocking of supplies, transportation of specimens and blood products, and movement of equipment in and out of the operating room suite.

Requirements

• AHA BLS for Healthcare Providers within 30 days.

Responsibilities

• Practicing housekeeping responsibilities for environmental sanitation.
• Provide and assist the staff with safe patient handling, movement, and transfers under the guidance of the registered nurse.
• Maintain stocking of supplies, transportation of specimens and blood products, and movement of equipment in and out of the operating room suite.
