Full-time 40-hour day/eve/night rotation including weekends, holidays and on-call required. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 years OR RN experience. The Pedi/plastic/burn OR nursing team is a cohesive team that cares for patients undergoing plastics and burn surgery, and pediatrics in our designated 3 room pediatric OR suite. Our pediatric subspecialties include neurosurgery, orthopedics, and urology. Plastics procedures vary in complexity from cosmetic to microsurgery and complex multiservice operations. Job Summary Summary Accountable for interpreting the plan of medical care, assessment of patients' clinical decision-making regarding nursing care, assuring nursing care is provided in a safe and competent manner, providing individualized nursing care, and evaluating nursing care for groups of patients. Does this position require Patient Care? Yes Essential Functions Maintain accurate, detailed reports, and records. -Administer medications to patients and monitor patients for reactions or side effects. -Record patients' medical information and vital signs. -Monitor, record, and report symptoms or changes in patients' conditions. -Consult and coordinate with healthcare team members to assess, plan, implement, or evaluate patient care plans. -Modify patient treatment plans as indicated by patients' responses and conditions.
