About The Position

This position is for an OR Circulator in a friendly and busy multispecialty Ambulatory Surgery Center. The center provides services including Ortho, Ophthalmology, Urology, ENT, Podiatry, Plastics, and Pain. The role emphasizes teamwork and flexibility and is ideal for PERI-OP 101 GRADUATES with a minimum of 1 year of experience.

Requirements

• Minimum 1-2 years experience as an OR Circulator
• Current state nursing license
• Current ACLS/BLS/PALS certification (must be obtained within 90 days of hire)
• Successfully complete annual facility-wide competencies
• Demonstrated interpersonal communication skills
• Prior knowledge of surgical instrumentation and peri-operative equipment or ability to learn same
• Ability to work with a minimum of supervision and to organize work in order of importance
• Ability to work effectively in stressful situations and in a variety of peri-operative environments
