This is an OR Nurse Every Weekend Position, 36 hours, Evening shift, Every Weekend Saturday and Sunday. Call team assignments are determined based on skill set and departmental needs. 3+ years OR experience required. Proficiency in 3 relevant services required. Charge experience preferred. The Staff Nurse will be responsible for providing care for patients in our Operating Room and working collaboratively to provide excellent care to patients and families in the safest environment.

Requirements

  • Graduate of an approved school of nursing with current registration in Massachusetts.
  • For newly licensed nurses a Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing is required.
  • 3+ years OR experience required.
  • Proficiency in 3 relevant services required.
  • 3+ years circulating and scrub experience preferred.
  • Able to work weekend rotation per the MNA contract

Nice To Haves

  • Charge experience preferred.
  • Membership in professional organizations is recommended and certification in a specialty area is encouraged.
