About The Position
The Brigham and Women's Hospital, Inc. is seeking an OR Nurse for an every-other-weekend position. This role involves providing care for patients in the Operating Room and working collaboratively to ensure excellent care in the safest environment. The position is a 36-hour Evening Category II role, requiring every other weekend coverage on Saturdays and Sundays. Call team assignments will be determined by skill set and departmental needs. Requirements
- Graduate of an approved school of nursing with current registration in Massachusetts.
- For newly licensed nurses a Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing is required.
- 3+ years OR experience required.
- Proficiency in 3 relevant services required.
- Able to work weekend rotation per the MNA contract
Nice To Haves
- Charge experience preferred.
- 3+ years circulating and scrub experience preferred.
- Membership in professional organizations is recommended.
- Certification in a specialty area is encouraged.
