About The Position

As the OPX Strategic Planning and SIOP Leader, you will be responsible for establishing, governing, and maturing Westinghouse's enterprise Sales, Inventory, and Operations Planning (SIOP) capability across both resource-based and manufacturing-based planning processes. You will establish the enterprise framework, standards, governance, metrics, and capability development for SIOP, while business units retain ownership of execution and operational planning. You will act as a central enterprise integrator and will ensure alignment of demand with capacity, capabilities, and critical constraints to support proactive risk management and informed executive decision-making. Additionally, you will align and integrate processes with the New Plant Business area to support cross-business interfaces. You will report to the OPX Delivery, Performance and Systems team and will be based out of our Cranberry Township, PA location. This is a mobile role that is required on site 2-3 days per week.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, Supply Chain, or related discipline
  • 10+ years of experience in enterprise planning, operations strategy, or integrated business planning
  • Demonstrated success leading complex, cross-functional planning processes
  • Strong understanding of workforce and operational capacity planning
  • Experience in engineering-intensive, project-based, or professional services environments
  • Background in enterprise transformation, internal consulting, or advisory roles
  • Experience governing or integrating resource-based and manufacturing-based SIOP processes
  • Familiarity with SIOP / IBP platforms or advanced planning analytics

Responsibilities

  • Own and define the enterprise SIOP/IBP strategy, operating model, and governance framework across both resource-based and product-based planning
  • Establish and lead the SIOP governance structure, including monthly executive SIOP/IBP cycles, standardized calendars, decision forums, and escalation paths
  • Drive executive alignment by enabling structured, data-driven decision-making tied to corporate strategy and financial objectives
  • Develop enterprise-wide standards, policies, and best practices to ensure consistency and scalability across all business units
  • Lead the integration of demand, supply, and financial plans across manufacturing, procurement, distribution, and finance that support both short- and long-term business objectives
  • Partner with Accounting and Production Planning to align SIOP outputs with the Annual Operating Plan (AOP) and budgeting processes
  • Facilitate monthly Demand Reviews across business segments to evaluate sales-to-forecast performance and adjust forecasts proactively
  • Develop and standardize enterprise-wide capacity planning and modeling frameworks across roles, skillsets, and production capabilities
  • Identify and manage constraints, ensuring optimized trade-offs between service levels, cost, and capacity utilization
  • Review production scheduling across multiple sites, ensuring SIOP outputs are effectively translated into actionable site-level plans
  • Lead enterprise scenario modeling, trade-off analysis, and risk-based planning to support executive decision-making
  • Provide leadership with clear insights into constraints, risks, and potential business impacts, along with recommended actions
  • Proactively identify planning gaps, forecast risks, and capacity constraints; implement mitigation strategies to improve service levels and reduce lead times
  • Lead ERP and advanced planning system enhancements (SAP, Microsoft Dynamics) to support scalable and automated planning processes
  • Drive system improvements to enable visibility into key planning inputs such as AOP vs. forecast, demand drivers, and capacity data
  • Implement dashboards, planning funnels, and reporting tools to enhance planner productivity and decision-making
  • Transition planning processes from manual and siloed workflows to integrated, data-driven systems
  • Define, monitor, and govern enterprise SIOP KPIs including forecast accuracy, capacity utilization, inventory optimization, OTIF delivery, and risk exposure
  • Conduct regular performance reviews to identify improvement opportunities and drive accountability across functions
  • Develop and execute a multi-year SIOP maturity roadmap, including capability assessments and continuous improvement initiatives
  • Build and lead a global SIOP community of practice to standardize processes and elevate planning capabilities
  • Partner across Engineering, Operations, HR, Finance, and Supply Chain to ensure alignment and enterprise-wide execution
  • Drive stakeholder engagement and leadership buy-in by demonstrating the value of SIOP processes and outcomes
  • Establish and lead recurring stakeholder meetings and forums to align on business priorities, risks, and operational impacts
