About The Position

Comprehensive Mobile Care (CMC) is seeking a Part-Time Optometrist (OD) to provide care in a structured, outpatient clinic-based environment in Los Angeles, CA. This is a clinic-based role in Koreatown where you’ll function as an extension of a clinical team within a coordinated, community-focused setting serving senior Korean Americans. This opportunity operates within a community-based outpatient clinic model. Clinic staff are on-site full time, with organized scheduling and patient flow in a coordinated, team-based care environment. This is a value-based model focused on seniors. CMC manages equipment, supplies, scheduling, billing and logistics, allowing the optometrist to focus entirely on delivering high-quality vision care. This is not a high-volume retail model, and emphasizes quality over volume, consistency and predictability, administrative and logistical support, long-term clinic partnerships, and ethical, mission-driven healthcare delivery.

Requirements

• Doctor of Optometry (OD) degree from an accredited program
• Active California Optometry License
• Fluent in English and Korean
• Comfortable practicing in outpatient clinic environments

Nice To Haves

• Experience treating senior populations preferred
• Strong clinical judgment and patient communication skills

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive eye exams and vision assessments
• Communicate with patients in their preferred language, English or Korean
• Diagnose and manage common ocular conditions within your scope of practice
• Prescribe corrective lenses and provide appropriate treatment recommendations
• Collaborate with clinic staff as part of an integrated care team
• Deliver patient-centered care in a structured outpatient setting
