About The Position
Target Optical is seeking an independent Doctor of Optometry to operate a private practice alongside a Luxottica-operated optical dispensary. The doctor provides optometric care and services to patients, determines their own professional fee schedule, and retains the patient revenues associated with the professional services they deliver. The practice model offers professional autonomy, with scope of practice guided by the doctor and no company-imposed restrictions, interference, or quotas. The arrangement includes flexible practice schedules, including part-time commitments, and the option to add to an existing practice schedule. A furnished office and well-equipped exam lanes are included in the rent agreement, along with online appointment booking and patient recall systems. The independent practice model is described as offering an easy entry with minimal financial risk or obligations, with brand-supplied onboarding support. Luxottica handles dispensary business concerns so the doctor can focus on patient care. Affiliated doctors may participate in OneSight’s vision-care mission.
