About The Position

Shopko Optical is seeking an Optometrist to join their team at the River Falls Location. This role offers the autonomy to build the practice, with support from experienced staff and ancillary services like screening and patient billing. The focus is on providing great patient care, including comprehensive eye exams, contact lens fitting, refractive services, and diagnosing, treating, and managing eye disease, as well as cataract and refractive surgery co-management. The position is not a call position and emphasizes work/life balance.

Requirements

• OD Degree from ACOE approved College of Optometry
• Ability to communicate with customers and teammates
• Must be legally authorized to work in country of employment without sponsorship for employment visa status.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive eye exams
• Perform contact lens fittings
• Provide refractive services
• Diagnose, treat, and manage eye disease
• Engage in cataract and refractive surgery co-management
