About The Position
LensCrafters is seeking an Associate Optometrist to work within the practice of a LensCrafters Subleasing Optometrist. As an independent practice, Luxottica operates the optical dispensary, while the Affiliated Doctor operates the Doctor's office and provides high-quality optometric care and service to patients. The Associate Doctor of Optometry will work within this model, with terms of agreement, practice model, pay, and hours negotiated directly with the Subleasing Doctor. This role offers professional autonomy and a full scope of practice without company-imposed restrictions or quotas. Flexible scheduling is available, including part-time commitments or the option to supplement an existing practice schedule. The office is fully furnished with a full suite of OD equipment, often including the latest digital eye examination technology (Clarifye), Daytona Optomap Digital Retinal Imaging System, and full tech and pre-testing support. An automated online appointment book and patient recall system are also provided.
Requirements
- Doctor of Optometry degree.
- Affiliation with a LensCrafters Subleasing Optometrist.
- Negotiate terms of agreement, practice model, pay, and hours directly with the Subleasing Doctor.
Nice To Haves
- Experience with digital eye examination technology like Clarifye.
- Experience with Daytona Optomap Digital Retinal Imaging System.
