Optometrist - Locum Red Deer
About The Position
Hauck Vision and Hearing, in partnership with FYihealth group, has an immediate need for a locum Optometrist to support their busy clinic. The clinic is currently supported by two ODs, and one is on leave from early August until mid-September. They are looking for part-time or full-time coverage during this period, with strong potential for continued work afterward. The FYidoctors in Red Deer is also hiring a permanent OD. Hauck Vision and Hearing operates Monday to Friday from 9 am to 4:30 pm. The ODs are supported by a team of two licensed Opticians and pretesting support. The clinic is equipped with advanced technology, including an OCT and Visual Field equipment, and features three modern exam lanes, ensuring the incoming OD will have their own space. Due to the urgency, ODs from Edmonton or Calgary are welcome, and accommodation can be provided for those traveling to the clinic. This is a significant opportunity to join an established practice with a busy schedule and offers flexibility for future roles within the group.
Requirements
- Licensed Optometrist.
- Ability to provide part-time or full-time coverage.
- Willingness to travel to Red Deer (accommodation provided for travelers from Edmonton or Calgary).
