About The Position

Pacific Eye Group is a family-owned optometry practice that began in March 2019 in Portland, Oregon, and has since expanded to include a new location in Eugene. As a doctor-owned, patient-centric group, we offer convenient, caring, and personalized eyecare within Visionworks. Our practice allows employees to focus on patient care without the burdens of business management, as we handle all aspects of insurance billing, credentialing, and staff management. We do not require on-call or after-hours work. We are seeking an enthusiastic Optometrist to join our expanding practice and contribute to providing high-quality vision care.

Requirements

• Doctor of Optometry (O.D.) degree
• Valid state license to practice optometry
• A strong sense of workplace professionalism and personal ethics
• Customer-service orientation with excellent interpersonal skills

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive eye exams
• Diagnose and assist in the treatment of ocular disease
• Prescribe corrective lenses
• Provide pre- and post-operative care to surgical patients
• Promote healthy vision by counseling and educating patients
• Maintain patient records using Crystal PM EMR
