Requirements

A valid state optometry license or one actively being obtained is required.
4th-year students encouraged to apply.
Strong clinical skills in diagnosing and managing eye conditions.
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.

Responsibilities

Provide comprehensive primary eye care, including routine vision exams and diagnosis of vision problems
Conduct LASIK and cataract evaluations
Manage pre-operative and post-operative care for surgical patients
Diagnose and manage ocular diseases and conditions
Work collaboratively with ophthalmologists and the broader clinical team
Educate patients on eye health, preventative care, and treatment options
Build and maintain a strong patient base through excellent communication and follow-up
Maintain accurate and thorough patient records
Stay updated with advancements in optometric care and technology
Participate in ongoing professional development and continuing education
