About The Position

Visionworks Doctors of Optometry is seeking an experienced and state-licensed Optometrist to focus on leading and coaching quality of care and the patient experience in their new market in California. This role is for an experienced Doctor of Optometry who believes in the power of eyecare within the healthcare system, is tech-savvy, and people-focused. The opportunity will be located in Sacramento, CA, opening in September 2023. The company offers the benefits of being a Doctor without the hassle of running a business, as Visionworks handles all insurance billing, credentialing, staff hiring & training, and administrative work. Their primary care practices focus on comprehensive eye care, including routine exams, contact lens evaluations, and medical treatment for eye diseases. All offices are equipped with state-of-the-art equipment, and OD techs assist with patient workups and contact lens teaching. Visionworks is a leading national eye care company that provides an excellent support system for their PC doctors to manage a successful practice while focusing on patient care.

Responsibilities

• Practice full-time (or part-time) providing comprehensive eye care to patients of all ages, and visual and medical conditions.
• Perform patient examinations.
• Recommend vision-enhancing solutions based on prescription findings.
• Handle eye emergencies.
• Collaborate with staff members to help deliver our commitment to improving access to healthcare.
