About The Position

We are seeking an experienced Optometrist to provide mobile eye care services at correctional facilities. This unique opportunity offers flexible scheduling, competitive daily rates, and the chance to serve a medically complex population in a secure environment.

Requirements

  • Doctor of Optometry (OD) degree
  • Heavy medical optometry experience required
  • Residency training preferred; new graduates must have completed a relevant residency
  • Ability to work independently and travel to multiple sites
  • Willingness to work in correctional facility settings
  • Comfortable managing complex ocular and systemic conditions
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
