Requirements

  • Licensed Optometrist or eligible for licensure in Florida
  • Ability to provide primary eye care services
  • Ability to manage ocular diseases, including glaucoma
  • Ability to manage ocular urgencies and emergencies
  • Experience providing full-service contact lens care
  • Ability to co-manage surgical patients
  • Commitment to providing high-quality, patient-centered care
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with physicians, ophthalmologists, and specialists
  • Ability to pass a background check and drug screening test.

Responsibilities

  • Provide comprehensive primary eye care services.
  • Diagnose and manage ocular diseases, including glaucoma.
  • Address ocular urgencies and emergencies.
  • Provide full-service contact lens care.
  • Co-manage surgical patients.
  • Collaborate effectively with physicians, ophthalmologists, and specialists.
  • Utilize an integrated electronic medical record system for seamless communication and continuity of care.
