About The Position

Eyeland Optical is a family-owned practice with a mission to provide exceptional patient experiences and foster long-term relationships with patients and employees. The chosen Optometrist will evaluate the patient's visual system, examine eye health, and assess other parts of the visual pathway. They will diagnose and treat visual problems, and prescribe eyeglasses and/or contact lenses as needed. Administrative tasks such as medical billing/coding, credentialing, and insurance follow-ups are handled by a third party. The practice is equipped with comprehensive tools for primary eye care needs and supported by an independent, friendly, professional staff trained in extensive preliminary testing, contact lens care and fittings, and more.

Requirements

• PA license from the State Board of Optometry
• Graduate from an American Optometric Association approved school of Optometry
• National Board Certification
• DPA (Diagnostic Pharmaceutical Agents) certified
• TPA (Therapeutic Pharmaceutical Agents) certified

Nice To Haves

• Experience as a licensed Optometrist preferred, but will consider new graduate
