About The Position

At Dawn M Miller, OD, practice in Garden Grove, California, you’ll have the unique opportunity to enhance and protect patients’ vision while making a meaningful impact every day. The practice is seeking a like minded, patient focused optometrist for a part time associate position with the intention of a gradual transition and potential buyout within 1–2 years. In the short term, temporary coverage will be needed for approximately four weeks during a planned medical leave, followed by an ongoing part time schedule. While benefits are not included, compensation is flexible, with openness to a negotiable production bonus, making this an ideal opportunity for an OD interested in continuity of care, long term growth, and future ownership. Requirements

  • Optometry license in the state of California
  • Strong contact lens knowledge
  • Excellent communication and people skills
  • Experience in glaucoma management
  • Experience in surgical co-management
  • Comfort working with toric, RGP, and multifocal contact lenses

Responsibilities

  • Seeing patients
  • Charting in Eyefinity Encompass
  • Assisting with select eyeglass and contact lens patient interactions
  • Providing direction to support staff on scheduled office days
