About The Position

This practice is thrilled to announce an opening for an optometrist to join their enthusiastic team in Auburn and Opelika! Here, patient care is prioritized, and a supportive environment is fostered for the staff. They are seeking a caring, hardworking associate eager to grow with the practice. The ideal candidate would work 4-4.5 days between their Opelika and newly opened Auburn office.

Requirements

• Doctor of Optometry (OD) degree from an accredited optometry school
• Valid state optometry license or in the process of obtaining

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive eye care to patients.
• Conduct eye exams and follow-up appointments.
• Utilize Optos, Slit Lamps, Autorefactors, and Digital Phoropters for patient care.
• Collaborate with technicians, receptionists, contact lens specialists, opticians, and back-office managers.

Benefits

• Pay structure begins at $500 per day.
• Additional 20% bonus on any earnings over $500 from exams and optical purchases within two weeks of the visit.
