About The Position

EYEcenter Optometric is seeking two full-time Optometrists to join their team in the Sacramento area. Founded in 1960 by Dr. Fred Fuerst, the practice aims to provide personalized, distinctive eye care using cutting-edge technologies and a caring team. The role involves practicing in a modern, state-of-the-art clinic, providing comprehensive eye care to patients of all ages and conditions, and utilizing advanced diagnostic technology. The ideal candidate is a California-licensed Optometrist with excellent clinical skills, a passion for delivering top-notch eye care, and a desire to collaborate with other professionals. This position is open to both recent graduates and experienced professionals. The role is full-time, 40 hours a week, with coverage across EYEcenter Optometric locations in Citrus Heights, Folsom, Gold River, Rocklin, and Midtown Sacramento.

Requirements

  • California-licensed Optometrist with excellent clinical skills
  • Passion for delivering top-notch eye care services

  • Enjoys caring for a diverse patient population
  • Excellent listener who genuinely cares about patients
  • Doctor of Optometry degree, O.D. including Third Party Administrator (TPA) certificate of licensure
  • 1-3 years of clinical practice experience with current knowledge of Optometric technology and practices
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong management, leadership, and organizational skills
  • Strong business aptitude, self-discipline, and ability to deliver outstanding patient service
  • Ability to exercise discretion and independent judgment in the performance of his/her job duties

Responsibilities

  • Provide comprehensive eye care to patients of all ages and conditions
  • Utilize advanced diagnostic technology, including retinal cameras, OCT, visual fields, and automated refracting systems
  • Educate patients about ocular health and recommend vision-enhancing solutions
  • Consistently exceed patient expectations while providing personalized and individualized care to ensure excellent eye health and vision care
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, new products, and lens technologies
