About The Position
The new optometrist will work in a collaborative, dynamic environment with an integrated, multi-disciplinary care team. Providers are supported by highly-trained clinical assistants and on-site management in a comfortable, modern outpatient setting. Providers see a variable (and always manageable) number of patients per day, based upon patient needs and types of appointments scheduled. The office uses the AthenaHealth EHR.
Requirements
- active OD credentials
- New York optometrist license
- 1+ year practice experience
- contact lens fitting experience
Responsibilities
- provide complete, comprehensive eye exams for patients
- diagnose and treat conditions of the eye
- provide coordination of care services as needed
- deliver preventative and healthcare maintenance to patients
- work collaboratively with other providers
