About The Position
LensCrafters is seeking an Independent Doctor of Optometry affiliated with LensCrafters (Luxottica) to serve as an Associate Optometrist. This role involves working within the practice of a LensCrafters Subleasing Optometrist, either as an employee or a contracted doctor. Luxottica operates the optical dispensary, while the Affiliated Doctor manages the doctor's office and provides high-quality optometric care and service to patients. The terms of agreement, practice model, pay, and hours are negotiated directly between the Associate Doctor of Optometry and the Subleasing Doctor.
Requirements
- Doctor of Optometry degree.
- Affiliation with LensCrafters (Luxottica).
- Negotiate terms of agreement, practice model, pay, and hours directly with the Subleasing Doctor.
Nice To Haves
- Experience with digital eye examination technology like Clarifye.
- Experience with Daytona Optomap Digital Retinal Imaging System.
Responsibilities
- Provide high quality optometric care and service to patients.
- Exercise professional autonomy in patient care.
- Perform full scope of practice as determined by professional discretion and agreement with the Subleasing Doctor.
