About The Position

Optiks International, part of Solis Optics, is seeking a Part Time Optometrist to join their team in Kamloops. This role offers strong and consistent patient demand, providing an excellent opportunity to build a schedule that fits individual needs while practicing in a supportive, team-oriented environment. The practice is looking for coverage two days per week (Fridays and Saturdays), with flexibility to grow into additional days over time. The clinic is situated in a busy optical location with consistent referrals and has experienced steady growth since its opening in 2018. The optometrist will be supported by a dedicated and experienced team who assist with pre-testing, dispensing, and patient flow, allowing the optometrist to focus on delivering exceptional care. The clinic features two exam lanes and is equipped with up-to-date technology, including an OCT, a dry eye treatment area with a Meibographer, Tempsure Radiofrequency, and an Inmode IPL. Solis Optics, the retail optical division of FYIhealth Group, operates over 30 locations across four provinces under various established banners.

Requirements

• Licensed Optometrist.
• Ability to work part-time, specifically Fridays and Saturdays.
• Willingness to potentially increase working days over time.

Nice To Haves

• Experience with OCT, Meibographer, Tempsure Radiofrequency, and Inmode IPL.
