Part-Time Optometrist | Refractive Care
About The Position
Comprehensive Mobile Care (CMC) is seeking a Part-Time Optometrist (OD) to provide care at three outpatient clinics across Allegheny county, serving in Homestead, Tarentum and McKeesport, PA. This is a clinic-based role where you’ll function as an extension of the clinical team within a coordinated, community-focused setting serving senior populations. This opportunity operates within a community-based outpatient clinic model. Clinic staff are on-site full time, with organized scheduling and patient flow in a coordinated, team-based care environment focused on seniors. CMC manages equipment, supplies, scheduling, billing and logistics, allowing the optometrist to focus entirely on delivering high-quality vision care. This is not a high-volume retail model; optometrists are integrated into established clinic environments and represent Comprehensive Mobile Care directly within each partner location. The organization emphasizes quality over volume, consistency and predictability, administrative and logistical support, long-term clinic partnerships, and ethical, mission-driven healthcare delivery.
Requirements
- Doctor of Optometry (OD) degree from an accredited program
- Active Pennsylvania optometry license
- Strong clinical judgment and patient communication skills
- Comfortable practicing in outpatient clinic environments

Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive eye exams and vision assessments
- Diagnose and manage common ocular conditions within your scope of practice
- Prescribe corrective lenses and provide appropriate treatment recommendations
