About The Position
Comprehensive Mobile Care (CMC) is seeking a Part-Time Optometrist to provide care in a structured, outpatient clinic-based environment in Stockton and Modesto, CA. This is a clinic-based role where you’ll function as an extension of the clinical team within a coordinated, community-focused setting serving senior populations. This opportunity operates within a community-based outpatient clinic model. Clinic staff are on-site full time, with organized scheduling and patient flow in a coordinated, team-based care environment focused on seniors. CMC manages equipment, supplies, scheduling, and billing logistics, allowing the optometrist to focus entirely on delivering high-quality optometry care. This is not a high-volume rotating model; optometrists are integrated into established clinic environments and represent Comprehensive Mobile Care directly within each partner location. The role emphasizes quality over volume, consistency and predictability, administrative and logistical support, long-term clinic partnerships, and ethical, mission-driven healthcare delivery.
Requirements
- Doctor of Optometry (OD) degree from an accredited program
- Active California optometry license
- Strong clinical judgment and patient communication skills
- Comfortable practicing in outpatient clinic environments

Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive eye exams and vision assessments
- Diagnose and manage common ocular conditions within your scope of practice
- Prescribe corrective lenses and provide appropriate treatment recommendations
