About The Position
A fabulous physician-owned practice is seeking an optometrist to join its team. This is a fantastic part-time role for someone interested in primary medical optometry, with flexible scheduling and a supportive, upbeat environment. The role offers the opportunity to start with 2-3 days a week and expand to 4 days. The office hours are Monday to Friday, 8:00 am - 4:30 pm, with no weekends. The practice utilizes the latest technology, and training is provided for unfamiliar equipment. The optometrist will work alongside dedicated techs, front desk staff, opticians, and billing professionals.
Requirements
- Current O.D. License in West Virginia.
- Licensed Optometrist.
- Outgoing, approachable, and able to make patients feel comfortable.
- Eager to help people and committed to quality patient care.
Nice To Haves
- Familiarity with Zeiss OCT, Visual Field, Fundus Camera, Corneal Topography, Auto Refractors, and Auto Lensometers (training is provided if not familiar).
Responsibilities
- Provide excellent primary medical eye care to a steady flow of 22-24 patients per day.
- Collaborate with a dynamic support staff to ensure top-notch patient experiences.
- Be comfortable using Compulink EHR (training available).
- Focus on patient-centered scheduling that is rewarding and manageable.
