About The Position

Pacific Eye Group is a family-owned optometry practice that began in March 2019 in Portland, Oregon, and has since expanded to include an additional location in Eugene. As a doctor-owned, patient-centric group, we offer convenient, caring, and personalized eyecare to our patients within Visionworks.

As an employee of The Practice, you will benefit from practicing optometry without the administrative burdens of running a business. We manage all aspects of insurance billing, credentialing, and staff hiring and training, and there is no on-call or after-hours work required. We are seeking an enthusiastic Optometrist (OD) to join our expanding practice and contribute to providing high-quality vision care. The ideal candidate will be dedicated to excellent patient care and possess a desire for continuous learning and clinical skill development.

Requirements

• Doctor of Optometry (O.D.) degree
• Valid state license to practice optometry
• A strong sense of workplace professionalism and personal ethics
• Customer-service orientation with excellent interpersonal skills

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive eye exams
• Diagnose and assist in the treatment of ocular disease
• Prescribe corrective lenses
• Provide pre- and post-operative care to surgical patients
• Promote healthy vision by counseling and educating patients
• Maintain patient records using Crystal PM EMR
