About The Position
We are seeking an Optometrist (OD) to join our team. Spanish fluency is not required, but the ability to comfortably perform an eye exam in Spanish is strongly preferred to better serve our patient population. Why join us? What you'll do: Perform comprehensive eye examinations (refractions, binocular vision, ocular health) Communicate effectively with patients, including Spanish-speaking patients when possible Prescribe glasses and contact lenses Diagnose and manage common ocular conditions Provide clear patient education and recommendations
Requirements
- Doctor of Optometry (OD) degree
- Active Nevada optometry license (or eligibility)
- Strong clinical and communication skills
Nice To Haves
- Ability to perform eye exams in Spanish (not required but highly valued)
- Experience in high-volume or retail optical settings
- Familiarity with EMR systems
