About The Position
A fabulous physician-owned practice is seeking an optometrist to join its team. This is a fantastic part-time role for someone interested in primary medical optometry, with flexible scheduling and a supportive, upbeat environment. Start with 2-3 days a week, and expand to 4 days as your career blossoms. No weekends! Office hours are Monday to Friday, 8:00 am - 4:30 pm. Enjoy working alongside dedicated techs, front desk staff, opticians, and billing pros.
Requirements
- Current O.D. License in West Virginia or Ohio.
- Licensed Optometrist
- Outgoing, approachable, and able to make patients feel comfortable.
- Eager to help people and committed to quality patient care.
Nice To Haves
- Familiarity with Zeiss OCT, Visual Field, Fundus Camera, Corneal Topography, Auto Refractors, and Auto Lensometers (training is provided if not familiar).
Responsibilities
- Provide excellent primary medical eye care to a steady flow of 22-24 patients per day.
- Collaborate with a dynamic support staff to ensure top-notch patient experiences.
- Be comfortable using Compulink EHR (training available).
- Focus on patient-centered scheduling designed to keep days rewarding and manageable.
