- Experience in binocular vision and ocular disease.
Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive eye care for patients of all ages, including diagnosing, treating, and managing ocular conditions such as glaucoma, diabetic retinopathy, dry eye disease, macular degeneration, and ocular infections.
- Prescribe eyewear and fit contact lenses.
- Deliver medical eye care within the Arizona scope of practice.
- Use advanced diagnostic technology, including Optovue OCT and Fundus Camera, Oculus visual field, Neurolens, Zeiss iProfiler auto-refractor, topographer, and auto-phoropter, to support accurate evaluations and personalized treatment plans.
- Educate patients.
- Coordinate care with other healthcare providers.
- Maintain timely electronic medical records.
- Collaborate with technicians, opticians, and administrative staff.
- Build lasting patient relationships through compassionate, high-quality care in a flexible 21- to 36-hour weekly schedule.
