Responsibilities

  • Provide comprehensive eye care for patients of all ages, including diagnosing, treating, and managing ocular conditions such as glaucoma, diabetic retinopathy, dry eye disease, macular degeneration, and ocular infections.
  • Prescribe eyewear and fit contact lenses.
  • Deliver medical eye care within the Arizona scope of practice.
  • Use advanced diagnostic technology, including Optovue OCT and Fundus Camera, Oculus visual field, Neurolens, Zeiss iProfiler auto-refractor, topographer, and auto-phoropter, to support accurate evaluations and personalized treatment plans.
  • Educate patients.
  • Coordinate care with other healthcare providers.
  • Maintain timely electronic medical records.
  • Collaborate with technicians, opticians, and administrative staff.
  • Build lasting patient relationships through compassionate, high-quality care in a flexible 21- to 36-hour weekly schedule.
