An Optometric Technician is a valuable asset to an optometrist as they assist in providing a world class Total Patient Experience. This team member is able to handle a wide range of duties while using optical equipment to perform the initial testing needed to prepare a patient for an exam with an Optometrist. The role involves embracing and executing our Total Patient Experience to build relationships with all patients while delivering great medical support. Compliance with all company policies and procedures, including HIPAA, is expected. Urgency is a key aspect, valuing both patient and doctor time. General office duties and cleaning will be assigned by the manager. A positive work environment is fostered through teamwork and a patient-focused approach. Commitment to work hours that meet business needs, potentially including weekends, schedule changes, or extended schedules, is required.
