- Performing preliminary and any doctor requested tests
- Assisting optometrist and ophthalmologist with patient procedures
- Coordinating patient scheduling and monitoring patient flow
- Preparing exam room by cleaning instruments and maintaining inventory of medications and supplies
- Providing a safe, clean, organized and inviting environment
- Standing for sustained periods of time
- Stooping, Grasping, Lifting, Talking, Hearing
- Must be able to lift up to 15 lbs. on a regular basis from floor to waist, 5 lbs. from waist to shoulder, and 5 lbs. from shoulder to overhead.
- Visual acuity to determine the accuracy, neatness, and thoroughness of the work assigned.

Responsibilities
- Prepare patients for eye examinations by communicating the features and benefits of our preliminary testing procedures.
- Perform all preliminary and any doctor requested tests on all patients.
- Assist optometrist and ophthalmologist with patient procedures.
- Coordinate patient scheduling and monitor patient flow throughout the office, properly communicating delays.
- Prepare exam room by cleaning instruments and maintaining inventory of medications and supplies.
- Provide a safe, clean, organized and inviting environment for both patients and staff.
- Perform other duties and assume various responsibilities as determined by the office manager or team lead, and doctor(s).

- $15-$17 an hour, based on previous experience
