Responsibilities
- Welcome and prepare patients for their eye examinations.
- Obtain patient medical and ocular histories.
- Perform preliminary testing, including visual acuity, autorefraction, tonometry, retinal imaging, and other diagnostic procedures.
- Assist the doctor during examinations and procedures as needed.
- Educate patients on contact lenses, eyewear, and treatment plans.
- Maintain accurate electronic medical records.
- Clean and maintain exam rooms and equipment.
- Support front desk operations, including scheduling appointments and answering phones when needed.
- Contact lens training, education, and ordering.
