The primary responsibility of this position is to ensure that all patients are receiving the best quality of care at all times. The role is primarily responsible for assisting the Optometrist in patient care while demonstrating how we love eyes, care about the people behind them, and execute a flawless patient experience. Under the guidance of the optometrist or location manager, assist with activities including but not limited to pre-screening patients, gathering medical history, communicating with doctors and patients, answering phone calls, scheduling appointments, educating patients on insurance and benefits, training on contact lens use, obtaining insurance authorizations, posting charges, documenting exams, coordinating patient scheduling, and monitoring patient flow.
