Day to day as a Optometric Medical Assistant As a Full-Time Optometric Medical Assistant at Envision Eye Care, you will play a vital role in the daily operations of our eye care center. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include welcoming and assisting patients as they arrive, ensuring a comfortable and efficient experience. You will perform preliminary eye examinations, including measuring visual acuity and taking medical histories, under the supervision of licensed optometrists. Additionally, you'll be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organization of exam rooms and equipment, while also managing patient records with precision. Scheduling appointments and coordinating follow-up visits will be essential to ensure continuity of care. Collaboration with team members and clear communication with patients will be paramount, as you'll need to provide updates on examination processes and address any questions they may have.
