About The Position

Join Eye Associates of New Mexico (EANM) as a full-time Optician, and play a vital role in planning and coordinating Optical Department operations. From guiding patients through lens and frame selection to ensuring smooth patient flow in the optical shop, your work will make a daily impact. If you’re detail-oriented, adaptable, and thrive in a fast-paced environment, this is more than a job—it’s a launchpad for your career. Starting pay $16.00 per hour +, depending on skills, experience or ABO Certification.

Requirements

• 1+ years of patient service in optical preferred (but not required)
• Strong communication and people skills
• A team player ready to grow in a patient-centered environment

Nice To Haves

• ABO Certification a plus—we’ll train and support you if you don’t have it yet

Responsibilities

• Fit, adjust, and dispense eyeglasses
• Educate patients on lens options and frame selection
• Interpret prescriptions from ophthalmologists/optometrists
• Maintain patient records and manage inventory
