About The Position

solis optics - Vancouver - Yaletown, a division of FYihealth group, is seeking an Optician with a passion for style and customer service. This casual role involves 0-19 hours per week, with Saturday availability required. The position focuses on educating clients, assisting with frame selection, performing eyewear repairs and adjustments, and contributing to store sales goals.

Requirements

• Registered Optician in British Columbia
• Minimum one years’ experience in an optical environment
• Passionate about customer experience; a great communicator who can provide exceptional interactions with customers
• Committed to excelling as a member of a high performing team
• Able to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
• Good computer knowledge, including Microsoft Office Suite

Nice To Haves

• Previous retail experience an asset

Responsibilities

• Educating clients about the best eyewear choices for their lifestyle
• Assisting with selection of frames to suit your client’s aesthetic and performance needs
• Upholding excellent customer service standards using your charisma and problem-solving skills
