About The Position
PDS Optical is seeking a California Licensed Optician to join their team at the Ukiah, CA VA. The role involves providing exceptional eyewear and outstanding service to Veterans, upholding the company's mission of delivering GREAT Veteran CARE. The position is full-time, Monday through Friday, from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, with no nights or weekends required. Requirements
- California Optician license required.
- Current ABO Certification required
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced setting.
- Skilled in fitting, adjusting, repairing, and selling eyewear.
- Proficient in using lensometers, pupilometers, and computers.
- Dependable, self-motivated, and customer-focused.

- Comply with security clearance requirements by successfully passing a background check.
