About The Position
Small private Optometry practice with commitment to quality eye care seeking optician with experience. Full-time, Salary depends on experience. ABO certified is a plus, but is not necessary. We offer a full range of services including: Routine eye exams, Routine & specialty contact lens fitting, Fashion eyewear for adults and children, Prescription sunglasses, Advanced custom LASIK co-management, Cataract evaluations, Glaucoma evaluations, Diabetes focused eye exam and retinal photo/OCT.
Requirements
- Superior customer skills that will help us build long lasting patient relationships
- Thrive in a team environment
- Must be able to multi-task
- Detail oriented with Good organizational skills
- Can take directions and work independently
- EHR and optical experience required
Nice To Haves
- ABO certification is a plus
Responsibilities
- Frame and Lens selection that are customized to the patient with focus on educating the patient
- Dispensing, adjusting and repairing frames to ensure a perfect fit and patient satisfaction
- Accurately billing insurances (VSP and Eyemed)
- Pre-testing of Patients (visual fields, auto-refractor, stereo, lensometry)
- CL training and education on proper use
- Answering phones and making appointments in EHR
- Maintain accurate patient records and sales transactions
